Hi, Heather!
Staying at the
Swan and Dolphin Resorts is a real treat. The
pool area is super relaxing with plenty of lounge chairs and palm trees swaying overhead. Plus, the location is great being located on Disney's BoardWalk. It is a true vacation destination! However, the Swan and Dolphin are not actually Disney owned properties, so you will not get all the benefits of being a
Disney Resort hotel guest. While you will still get to enjoy Extra Magic Hours and perks like resort
transportation and package delivery, you will not be able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan. No worries, however, as you can still enjoy all the same wonderful dining locations, but you simply pay as you go.
As far as your tickets go, you are able to upgrade your tickets to add additional days as long as they are not expired, and you are within 14 days of the tickets first use. Make sure to make the upgrade prior to using the last day of your ticket. This upgrade can be make at any ticket window where a friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist you.
When the sun sets, enjoy some time strolling the BoardWalk. Stop by the
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop for an ice cream treat, or pop into ESPN to catch a game on one of their dozens of screens. Time it right and you might just catch fireworks from Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios. OK, now I am getting excited for your visit, I think I might have to plan a stay near the BoardWalk real soon, too! Enjoy!
