    I was looking at staying at a resort that offers boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom in addition to the bus, as there is sometimes a bit of a wait for the bus. Would this truly be a faster way to get to there?

    Hi Michelle,

    You're right - sometimes there is a bit of a wait for a bus so looking at your transportation options is great planning. 

    There are three Disney Resorts located on the monorail line which would offer super easy and fast access to the Magic Kingdom: 
        Disney's Grand Floridian (also offers boat transportation)
        The Polynesian (also offers boat transportation)
        The Contemporary (which is also within walking distance).

    You can also reach the Magic Kingdom from Bay Lake Towers by walking or going over to the Contemporary and catching a monorail.

    The Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness both offer boat service to the Magic Kingdom.

    Boat transportation can get back up a little bit as well depending on the time of day and the time of year you're traveling.  However, I like having other transportation options in case one look particularly backed up.
