Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside. It’s one of my favorite hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort. The setting is beautiful and serene, and I always love watching the boats go by on the Sassagoula River!
With pet allergies in our family, I can understand your concern about having a room that is safe for your wife and son. At Port Orleans - Riverside, specific buildings are designated as dog-friendly. I confirmed with a Cast Member that these buildings are 15, 24, 80, and 95. I actually have an upcoming stay booked at this resort hotel and just had a note added to my reservation about our pet allergies, so they know our needs when assigning us a room. You can add this note to your reservation by
calling and speaking with a Cast Member or chatting through the
My Disney Experience app. I added mine through the chat feature, and it was quick and easy!
While you’re there, a wonderful way to end a day is with a
horse-drawn carriage ride along the river! These rides are offered in the evenings and are the perfect way to wind down and soak in the charm of Port Orleans - Riverside!
