Hi! I am looking at staying at Pop! How does parking work for the arrival day, do I have to pay for parking if we go to Hollywood Studios before checking in? What is the earliest I can park at the resort? Can I park at pop and take the Skyliner over early?

    Hi Stacie,

Welcome to planDisney! Pop Century is one of my family's favorite resorts. We've stayed there dozens of times and always enjoy its convenient location and fun theming. Regardless of when you arrive on check-in day, you can take advantage of the parking privileges that go with a stay in an official Walt Disney World location.

If you decide to go straight to Hollywood Studios, you can present your MagicBand at the parking station to get free parking. Or you can park at Pop Century early in the day and hop on the Disney Skyliner for Hollywood Studios. That's what my family did on our most recent visit. We arrived before 9 a.m., hours before our room was ready. We simply parked our car at Pop Century and hopped onto the Walt Disney World transportation.

I highly recommend online check-in. If your room isn't ready when you arrive, you will get a text or an email to let you know your room number when it is available. No need to visit the front desk at all because your MagicBand or the digital key in the My Disney Experience app will unlock your room.

You also will want to review the Know Before You Go information so that you are up-to-date on all the latest health and safety measures and current procedures, including the Disney Park Pass reservation system.

Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you, Stacie, as you make your last-minute plans. Enjoy!
