Looking at staying at POFQ for the first time, can you suggest the best areas for both Preferred and Standard rooms. Also, we are a party of 5 adults, tips on getting 2 rooms close to one another? How is the food court at POFQ verus CSR? Thx moms and dads!

    Hi Roxanne!
That's a great choice! At Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter hotel, a good preferred room request would be located in the buildings closest to the bus stop like building number four or number seven. The bus stop is right in front of the main lobby building. Building five is one of my favorites because it's only a bit farther from the bus stop but it overlooks the Doubloon Lagoon.
You can request adjoining rooms or rooms that are close to each other when making your reservation. Even though these requests are not guaranteed, efforts will be made to meet your request.
The Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is a great food court filled with Mardi Gras decoration. It's usually open until midnight and, in my experience, the food has always been great. You can also walk over to Port Orleans - Riverside hotel where they have a full service restaurant called Boatwrights.
Hope this helps and have a magical vacation!
