Hello Gloria! I'm so pleased you've sent us this great question about
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel!
You may have already seen the
exciting news that Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is currently under refurbishment and will soon be reimagined as Pixar Place Hotel, highlighting the playful, heartfelt stories that Pixar does best! At the moment, the only on-site dining option at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is a self-service market. While I could not find a menu of food and beverage items, a Cast Member informed me that the self-service market currently offers complimentary coffee and hot chocolate. What a treat! Guests may also access any of the
dining options across the Disneyland Resort which may serve coffee and espresso.
Another option for on-site snacks at your hotel is the
Mickey in Paradise merchandise shop which stocks apparel, gifts, and food items for purchase. While Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is undergoing renovations, this shop is temporarily relocated to the Pacific Ballroom, near Guest check-in.
I wish I had a magic mirror to look ahead to the reopening date of the
Pools at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, but I do know that Guests who are impacted by these refurbishments may board complimentary transportation to use the
Pools at the Disneyland Hotel between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. If you choose to take advantage of this, I can't recommend the two Monorail waterslides enough. Both the Red Monorail and Yellow Monorail waterslides are a nostalgic thrill that both my kids and I love to ride over and over!
Now, Gloria, you might already know about the
special benefits available to Guests of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels but there is a distinctive perk just for Guests of Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel: a dedicated entrance into Disney California Adventure Park just across the street from your hotel. Just follow the signs marked for Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel Guests and don't forget that you must have both a
valid theme park ticket and park reservation for your selected date. I recommend bringing your hotel room key and linking your hotel reservation in the Disneyland mobile app for verification of your valid hotel stay. And of course, all Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels have
early entry access to both theme parks which grants you an extra 30 minutes to enjoy all the magic before general park opening!
Gloria, I hope to hear good news about the refurbishment progress at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. Typically, announcements are made first on the
Disney Parks Blog, but you can also find
construction updates on the hotel website. As your vacation approaches, I hope you'll feel welcome to come back and allow me or my fellow
planDisney panelists to answer any other questions you may have!
You've got a friend in me,
