We are looking at staying at a good neighbor hotel when we come to visit Disneyland. It is only 0.7 mile walk to Disneyland, can we get to the front gates by walking in off of S Harbor Blvd? The map shows buses listed as the main transportation center.

    Hello, Michelle!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for visiting with your question about the Disneyland Resort. I’m glad to hear you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth this summer!

The Good Neighbor Hotels are a great option for families who want to stay close to the magic at a Disney-approved hotel. Yes, you can walk right into the Disneyland Resort from the hotels along and adjacent to Harbor Blvd. Simply head down the sidewalk lining Harbor Blvd. from your hotel and continue until you reach the large sign for the Disneyland Resort. The path beneath it will lead you to the theme park entrances, which are just beyond the bus loading area. The entire trip from the front of your hotel to the parks should take about 10-20 minutes on foot, depending which one you're coming from.

I hope this answers your question, Michelle, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation! Please feel free to write back with any other planning questions you can dream of as your trip draws near.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
