I am looking at staying at either the Caribbean Beach Resort or the Port Orleans - Riverside. Was wondering if anyone has stayed at both and which one did you like best?

I have stayed at both, Dale, and both are lovely resorts, albeit with entirely different themes.  My personal opinion is that Port Orleans Riverside edges out Caribbean Beach because the grounds at Riverside are absolutely gorgeous.  Walking along the Sassagoula River, you're met with a serene, wooded view.  It's truly beautiful.  Caribbean Beach has its own perks, though I don't think the scenery compares.  Fans of all things swashbuckling would find it hard to beat the pirate-themed rooms featured at Caribbean Beach.  So, too does the Caribbean Beach offer a great pool, themed for a Spanish fortress.

Port Orleans Riverside boasts a plethora of recreational opportunities including horse-drawn carriage rides and a cute on-site fishing hole.  There is also lively entertainment provided by the house piano man in the River Roost Lounge.  The food court is average as is the on-site table service restaurant; the same can be said for Caribbean Beach.

My choice would be for Riverside, but rest assured that you can't go wrong with a stay at either!
