We're looking at staying at the cabins at FW. My husband and I and our sons (3 and 5) will be going with my parents and sister. That makes 7 of us but my one son with Autism will only sleep with us so we'd all fit fine. Would this be allowed?

    Hi Sheena!

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are a fabulous place to stay with little boys. There are so many great activities including fishing, archery lessons, pony rides, bike rentals, campfires and carriage rides. I can see why you'd like to stay there with your multi-generational group.

The cabins do have a maximum capacity of six guests unless the youngest guest is an infant. Disney does not consider a three-year-old an infant so, unfortunately, your travel party counts as seven and exceeds the capacity of a cabin. The good news, however, is that there is an alternative that would accommodate your group.

If you rent one of The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort instead, you could rent an RV that would house up to ten guests. The Cast Members at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort recommend that you reach out to Luxurious RV Rentals at (800)-561-8538 or Meacham's at (941)-224-4939. Either of these vendors could rent you an RV for the length of your stay and they'll set it up on the campsite you reserve through Walt Disney World Resort reservations. You can reserve that campsite by calling (407) 939-5277.

Let us know if you need additional suggestions for your party of seven. My friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel have plenty of ideas.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
