We are looking at staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge summer 2011. We are having a hard time choosing which one to stay at (Jambo or Kidani). Can you give me the low down on both?

Hello, Jessica!  Thank you so much for your question and I hope I can help you with your decision.

My all time favorite has been Disney's Kidani Village.   It seems to offer a more "exclusive feel" for the Animal Kingdom Villas.  There is always less "people traffic" and the surroundings seem to offer a sense of peace. Although both resort rooms are very similar once your door is shut, I always associate Jambo House with the word JUMBO.  Jambo House offers larger recreation areas, a wider selection of dining choices and much larger crowds.  Keep in mind, you can enjoy what Jambo House has to offer since it is only a 5 minute walk from Kidani Village.  Another big plus for Kidani Village is that the Disney's Bus Transportation System picks up guests staying there first.  You will ALWAYS have a seat!  Not only going to the parks, but you will be dropped off first at the end of your day.

    ~Have a MAGICAL day!~
