    I am looking at a stay at the Swan resort. Can I get a Key to the World card at the front desk there? Or do I need to get one in the parks? Thanks!

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting planDisney today with your question about a Key to the World card. Let's get right to it!

    A Key to the World Card works much like a MagicBand! It allows you to unlock your Disney hotel room, charge purchases to your room (once linked to a credit card), and access the theme parks by scanning it after linking your tickets.

    I chatted with a Cast Member today who confirmed that you can, indeed, visit a Cast Member at the Front Desk at Disney's Swan Resort and get a Key to the World Card. Most Guests opt to use either a MagicBand or the My Disney Experience Mobile app to do the same things but sometimes it is nice having a physical card in hand. (Plus, they make for a nice souvenir!)

    If you end up staying at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and have some time, check out Disney World's newest eatery: The Cake Bake Shop. Here, Guests can enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner desserts and cocktails from a beautifully decorated dining area with views of Crescent Lake and Disney's Boardwalk area.
