    Hi Anita,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is amazing. I understand you! And now you are considering on staying on a moderate resort. Every resort at Disney is fine, but I know all the moderates one and to be honest, the best moderate resort for me is Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. It’s the newest and I love stay at Cabanas area or Casitas. You can find great info about that hotel and others at Touring Plans. At this same website, read all the reviews, they also recommend rooms and buildings for you to stay. It’s going to be a useful read for you. I found Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter too old, dark and I am not a fan at all. But it is your decision and you should think and read more to be sure.  After you decide what you want to request, call directly to the Disney resort of your choice, provide them your resort confirmation number and ask what you want. Cast Members will say that they cannot guarantee but they will do their best to please you.

    Have a magical day!
