Looking to stay not a Disney hotel but do the buy Park passess

    Hi Ronald! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm excited that you are considering a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! With four theme parks to explore and countless experiences to try out, you are in for a magical trip!

While there are a ton of wonderful reasons to stay at a Disney Resorts Hotel, hotel reservations are not required to purchase tickets. Theme park tickets can be purchased on their own and by simply using the Walt Disney World website. When you access the site, select "Theme Park Tickets" on the "Parks & Tickets" drop-down menu. You can purchase single-day tickets or multi-day tickets for up to 10 days. There are a few different ticket types to choose from, including adding the Park Hopper Option, which allows you to visit multiple parks on the same day. When purchasing tickets a la carte, you will need to pay for them in full. These tickets will also be nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Once your tickets are purchased, you'll need to make theme park reservations. Reservations to the first park you visit each day are required along with a valid ticket. Reservations can be made using your My Disney Experience account once you have linked your tickets successfully. You will receive a unique Ticket ID Code upon purchase that you will use to link your tickets. Make sure to secure your park reservations as soon as possible since park availability is constantly changing.

Ronald, if you are potentially considering a stay at a Disney Resorts Hotel, there are plenty of perks that come along with it. Complimentary transportation to and from the parks is at the top of the list. When staying in any of these resorts, you never have to worry about how you will get back to where you are staying. You'll also get access to Early Theme Park Entry, which gives you an additional 30 minutes before the park officially opens to ride select attractions.

I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Stop back and see us again at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
