We are looking to split up our five night trip in Dec between polynesian and beach club. When I tried to book online it says we don't qualify for the dining package bc of the short stay. Do I need to call and make the reservation over the phone?

    Hi, Peggy!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I’m so glad to hear you’re planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation this December. The holiday season is one of my absolute favorite times of year to visit.

To take advantage of the free dining plan promotion currently available, you must purchase a non-discounted 6-night/7-day Magic Your Way package that includes room and theme park tickets at select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. It sounds like you weren’t able to qualify for free dining because your trip is fewer than six nights long. If you’re able to extend your reservation by one more night, you should be able to get the free dining plan offer for everyone in your party.

I hope this helps, Peggy, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation. Please write back with any other questions you may have!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
