Welcome Home, Heather! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. I love that you're getting your (Daisy) ducks in a row before you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort next week for a magical vacation. Figuring out how to get your caffeine fix so you can keep going through long days at the theme parks is super important - as a coffee aficionado myself, I completely appreciate this question!
You certainly picked a perfect location for your vacation.
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is my absolute favorite spot at Walt Disney World. It's even our family's
Disney Vacation Club Home Resort! Our foursome usually stays at a Deluxe Studio - they have plenty of space, and most importantly, two bathrooms (1 full bathroom with a toilet and tub, and 1 shower/sink combo) to accommodate our teenage daughters!
Heather, the kitchenette in the Poly studios is also really nice so you can have some meals in your room. We usually do a quick breakfast in the mornings before we head out for rope drop - it saves both money and time! The coffee maker in the studios is a small standard machine, and you'll find some filter pods and other supplies waiting for you. If you prefer a Keurig machine, you can request one by calling Housekeeping - in my experience, there is limited availability, but the Cast Members will do their best to make your caffeinated dreams come true!
We also will grab coffee from
Kona Island, which is located in the Great Ceremonial House at the Polynesian, next to the Monorail access. You can
mobile order your beverage of choice, and it will be ready for you in a snap - so convenient! And of course, you'll find both Starbucks and Joffrey's coffee in the parks and at
Disney Springs to keep you powered up.
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Heather! Wishing you a wonderful vacation full of sunshine and fun. Please come back and see us again at planDisney anytime if we can help with other questions to add a little extra pixie dust to your travels.
Stay Magical (and caffeinated!)!
Susan
