Hey there Michelle and welcome to planDisney!
There's nothing wrong with not being a thrill seeker. It's not all
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. There's plenty of fun to be had for the society of chill seekers at the Walt Disney World Resort. To get a real breakdown, check out this
list of Attractions and Entertainment at the Walt Disney World Resort. You can even adjust the drop-down bar on the right side to show the attractions available by theme park and adjust the filters for certain types of rides that would suit your son. In the meantime, here are a few of my top attractions for Guests who are looking for a more mellow vibe.
Magic Kingdom Park is a chill seeker's paradise. Most of the attractions in this park are designed for the whole family to enjoy together.
Pirates of the Caribbean and
The Haunted Mansion are classics that should never be missed and the Evil Emperor Zurg doesn't stand a chance against your boy on
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.
In Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Kilimanjaro Safaris and Kali River Rapids are the way to go for a bit of jungle fun. And beat the heat with
Festival of the Lion King and
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond! Both shows will take us along with our favorites of the animal and maritime worlds.
Over at EPCOT,
Soarin' Around The World is equal parts gentle and exciting as you take a hang-gliding tour around the 7 continents. And
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure shrinks the whole family down to little chef size and sends you on a gastro tour de France. And we can't wait to experience our first time at
Turtle Talk With Crush this fall. It should be totally righteous!
Disney's Hollywood Studios requires a stop at
Toy Story Mania! for a little arcade-style shooting with our friends from Andy's room.
Pro-tip: Add a little razzle-dazzle to your son's vacation by booking him a visit to
the Droid Depot.
Michelle, the Walt Disney World Resort has something fun for everyone. I'm wishing y'all an amazing vacation full of great memories. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
