Looking sometime in the next two to three years planning a trip to Disney. Going to be in Tampa for a few days and honeymoon with her kids at Disney for a week. I have no clue where to start. What I do know is I want to drink around the world.

Hello, Marcus! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

Giving yourself plenty of time to plan a Walt Disney World vacation is definitely the way to go, especially for first-time visitors. It helps take the stress out of the process and gives you the chance to make thoughtful choices that fit your family's needs and interests.

A great place to start is the Walt Disney World website, where you can explore all the resort options. Think about what kind of experience you’re looking for, whether it’s a value resort with fun, kid-friendly theming or a deluxe resort with extra space and amenities. Having a sense of your preferred accommodation style and your overall budget will help you begin to make the rest of your plans.

Next, consider how many park days you’d like and which of the four theme parks are at the top of your list. Some guests love to visit all four parks, while others choose to focus on just two or three, especially if they're traveling with younger kids or prefer a slower pace.

If you’re planning to indulge in the popular “drinking around the world” experience at EPCOT, where you sample authentic beverages from each of the countries in World Showcase, it’s a good idea to build in a rest day afterward.

EPCOT can be a full day on its own, especially with all the walking, eating, and sipping involved, so giving yourself a break the next day is a smart move. Whether that means lounging by the pool, enjoying a slow breakfast at your resort, or exploring Disney Springs at a relaxed pace, a recovery day lets you recharge before diving back into the parks.

And of course, be sure to pace yourself, stay hydrated, and maybe even share a few drinks so you can sample more without overdoing it. Let me know if you want tips on must-try drinks or snacks from each pavilion!

Be sure to start grabbing Disney gift cards! They can be used to secure your reservation and use anywhere at Walt Disney World resort!

How exciting that you are planning to share this day with your family! If you find that you have more planning questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to planDisney again!
