Hi there Elizabeth!
While I haven't stayed at the new Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs Resort, I had an extensive tour of the property at the end of June. I was very impressed, and the Treehouses have quickly shot to the top of my boys' Disney destination wish list after I described them! The decor is very "cabin-chice", and while the color scheme is a bit rustic, and the villas are nestled in a charming wooded area, the amenities hardly qualify as roughing it! Each treehouse is located 10 feet above the ground. It includes three bedrooms, two full baths (one with a sunken tub with jets), a fully-equipped, granite kitchen and separate dining area that seats six. (The kitchen also has an island that seats three.) There are flat screen TVs in the living room and each bedroom and a lovely wrap-around deck. The villas sleep up to nine guests.
I think the Treehouse Villas are a fantastic option for a large family or group of guests looking for a shared common area (living room, kitchen), in addition to personal space (three separate bedrooms). The atmosphere is serene and reminiscent of a cabin in the woods. It's a wonderful, relaxing reprieve from busy days in the theme parks!
If you'd like a "sneak peak" of the interior of the villas and the property, you can visit the independent website,
www.allears.net, and search "treehouse villas."
Have a wonderful trip!
