Welcome to
planDisney, Nicoletta!
Well, you've come to the right place. My planDisney pals and I are here to help fellow Guests plan their next magical visit to Walt Disney World. Check out the planDisney podcast and follow us on
Instagram for updates, tips, and suggestions.
Nicoletta, I always encourage folks to consider staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. With their unique storytelling, fabulous theming, and world-class customer service, Disney Resorts truly immerse you in the magic from start to finish. There are also many
magical benefits available to Guests staying on property, such as Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary transportation within the Walt Disney World Resort.
If you're anything like me, then food is a very important part of my vacation. Thankfully, Walt Disney World has a plethora of
fantastic restaurants to choose from. One of the many benefits of staying on property is the ability to make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your trip plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days). Since restaurants fill up quickly, this means that you are far more likely to book a table.
There are four theme parks and two water parks on property (although Blizzard Beach Water Park is currently closed for refurbishment). Each park is delightfully magical in its own way. If possible, try and at least visit each of the four theme parks during your visit. That might mean getting the Park Hopper Option on your tickets or staying more days. However, I don't think you'll regret it.
At some point, you'll want to create a
My Disney Experience account. When you purchase a vacation package, or even if you just purchase theme park tickets, you can link them to your account.
I'd also encourage you to download the
My Disney Experience Mobile app so that you can use the
Disney Genie service. This will help you plan your days in a way that is catered to you and your family.
Once you're ready to book, then there are a few options:
1. Book through the
Walt Disney World Resort website.
2. Speak
directly to a Cast Member, who can help you plan a vacation that accords with your budget and needs.
3. Find an authorized Disney vacation planner. There are many no-fee agents who are experts at helping Guests plan their next Disney adventure.
I hope that's helpful, Nicoletta. Please stop by again if you have any other questions.
Mike
