Looking into SOG, Swan/dolphin, downtown Disney hotels & wondering what would not be incl. such as EMH, fastpass plus, magic bands, photo magic, dining? EPCOT is a fave for us.

    Hi Lisa,

There are so many great resort options all around the Walt Disney World area. We've stayed at several "off-site" properties, including The Shades of Green Resort. All of the hotels you've listed above would be considered "off-property" hotels. The Disney Dining Plan is only available for guests staying at select Walt Disney World resort hotels and is not available for guests at off-site properties. Room charging privileges are also reserved exclusively for Walt Disney World resort hotel guests.

While you won't receive complimentary MagicBands at any of those resorts, you can preorder your MagicBands from and link them to your tickets through You'll be able to make your FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance. Guests staying at Walt Disney World resort hotels can make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance.

Some off-property hotels, like The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, do participate in Extra Magic Hours. You'll need to check each hotel's website for specifics regarding that particular benefit.

I hope this helps, Lisa. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I'd be more than happy to help you make your vacation as magical as possible.
