Hi, Aimee!
I’m happy to hear you’re planning a trip to the
Disneyland Resort. Time to enjoy the Disneyland Resort Hotels sounds great! I love starting my day with a Character breakfast, followed by a leisurely afternoon exploring the
Downtown Disney District or relaxing poolside!
Each of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels has a
Character Dining option. At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you can enjoy Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet as Mickey embarks on a culinary adventure with his best pals. Catch a wave with Donald and his friends at Donald Duck’s Seaside Breakfast at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel for a buffet in a beach-like setting. My personal favorite Character Dining location is Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel because of the large selection of food and fun character variety. You’ll find an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet that includes Mickey waffles, PB&J “pizza,” an omelet station and a whole section devoted to kids’ breakfast favorites during brunch. At dinnertime, selections include a carving station, catch of the day, a full dessert bar and other hearty dishes. When I had brunch at Goofy's Kitchen this past spring, the cost was $39 per adult and $23 for children ages 3 to 9 (plus tax and gratuity), but please keep in mind that prices are subject to change.
Reservations for Character Dining experiences are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance online or by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE. I hope this helps, Aimee, and that your vacation is all you’ve been dreaming! Please write back with more questions as your planning continues.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
