Hello, Diamond,
Oh boy! My family has also booked a Fall cruise aboard the Disney Dream, sailing out of Fort Lauderdale. We are looking forward to an adventure where Magic meets the sea.
Here is the schedule for the October 16, 2026, 3-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale aboard the Disney Dream:
- October 16: Guests board and depart the Port Everglades Cruise Terminal by 3:00 PM
- October 17: Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point; Ashore: 9:00 AM, Aboard: 4:45 PM
- October 18: Nassau, Bahamas; Ashore: 8:00 AM, Aboard: 5:00 PM
- October 19: Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Disembark: 8:00 AM
For round-trip cruises out of Fort Lauderdale, Disney Cruise Line recommends the following:
- Embarkation Day:
- Arrival flights into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) no later than 12:30 PM
- Arrival flights into Miami International Airport (MIA) no later than 11:30 AM
- Debarkation Day:
- Departure flight from FLL no earlier than 11:00 AM
- Departure flight from MIA no earlier than 12:00 PM (noon)
We usually book our flights ourselves too. But if you'd like, Disney Cruise Line can arrange for both air and ground transportation for most cruise itineraries. To make pre-cruise and post-cruise travel even more convenient, there are also options for stays at partner hotels. We used Disney's ground transportation for our family's most recent cruise on the Disney Treasure, including between the Orlando airport and the port and between the port and our Walt Disney World Resort hotel. We loved the convenience so much that we reserved Disney transportation to and from the airport for our next cruise too.
What are you looking forward to the most on your cruise, Diamond? I'm excited about visiting Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. I'm actually not much of a beach person. But Lookout Cay is such an amazing beach experience, with gorgeous white sand beaches and crystal-clear, calm waters, that I enjoy spending hours relaxing and playing there anyway.
I hope you have a magical cruise, Diamond!
