    I am looking for a way to run the Princess 5k run in February. Can you help me?

    Hi Amanda!

    I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with a question about entry for runDisney races.  I've been fortunate to participate in several race weekends and can say that every mile is truly magical when running through Walt Disney World Resort!  

    As you may already know, runDisney races are incredibly popular and Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is no exception!  Registration for the 2024 Disney Princess 5K is currently sold out on the website, but there may be some options available for you this year.  

    Each race weekend, runDisney partners with participating charities which means you may be able to find a registration still available through one of them.  This is a great way to run a race and support a good cause too!  Each charity sets their own rules on fundraising requirements so it's important to read the information they provide carefully.  There are also Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Virtual Races paired with each of the races taking place on property.  Participants in virtual races earn the same medals and receive the same race shirts as those who participate in person.  While the 2024 Disney Princess 5K Virtual Race is showing sold out, the other races are still showing registrations available.  If you're interested in participating in a longer run, you could register as a virtual participant and create your own race course.  There are also several running trails at various Disney Resorts Collection hotels that you could use when planning your run.  

    There is truly no race quite like a runDisney event, and I'm sending lots of pixie dust that you are able to find a way to participate in the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend this year!  Stay tuned to runDisney on Instagram or other official runDisney social media platforms for upcoming race information as it's released.  With the popularity of each runDisney weekend, I definitely recommend being ready to sign up when registrations open for future events!
