I am looking to run the Dopey Challenge in January 2020. Late to register and now it's sold out. Are there any forums of runners offering transfers?

    Hi J Aubrey,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I’m a huge fan of runDisney events, and I’m planning to run the Dopey Challenge (gulp!) in 2021. Based on my past experience, the “challenge” events tend to sell out relatively quickly, and that’s especially the case for events during the ever popular Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

According to the runDisney Race Policies, bibs are absolutely non-transferrable between runners and a participant running with a transferred bib risks disqualification. The only way for you to be able to register for this year’s Dopey Challenge would be to see whether any of the participating charities through the Charity Group Program (please scroll down on that page for a series of links) still have any bibs left. There may be some fundraising requirements associated with those charities, so I’d recommend contacting them ASAP to make sure that you’ll have enough time to raise enough money to run!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
