We are looking at 2 rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort, at least one of the rooms has to be a 5th sleeper. We are wondering if 5th sleeper rooms are connected to each other or what type of room we should reserve to increase our chance of connecting rooms?

Hi, Jena!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When you stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you really feel as if you have been transported to an island paradise.  I just love the theming of this resort!  In fact, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort was the very first Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that I ever stayed in.  During your stay, be sure to check out the newly reimagined Old Port Royale for all of your shopping and dining needs.  I'm sure you'll also want to take a dip in the zero-entry pool with two water slides, or maybe just relax in one of the hammocks found along the paths throughout the resort.

The 5th sleeper rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are found in various locations throughout the resort, so you do not necessarily need to book two 5th sleeper rooms in order to be assigned two rooms close together.  However, there are no 5th sleeper rooms in the section of the resort with the pirate rooms, so avoid booking a pirate room if you wish for your two rooms to be located together.  If you want the best chance of having two rooms nearby, you should book the same type of view.  For example, if you book a standard view 5th sleeper room, the other room you book should also be a standard view room.

While your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel cannot guarantee that your two rooms will be right next door to each other, if you call your resort hotel to make this request, the Cast Members will do their best to assign you two rooms near one another.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you get ready for your Walt Disney World vacation.   See ya real soon!
