Hey there, hi there, Kristin! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited to see you back here with another oh-so-fun vacation planning question.
Disney's BoardWalk Villas is one of my
Disney Vacation Club Home Resorts and one of my very favorite
DVC Resorts. With its lively vibe, fantastic
dining options, my favorite pool waterslide in all of Walt Disney World Resort, awesome
Resort activities and location within walking distance to
two theme parks, it really is the perfect home away from home right in the middle of the magic. I'm so excited for you to stay here next summer, and I'm thrilled to help you find your perfect room!
One thing that I love so much about
Disney's BoardWalk Villas is that no matter where your room is located within the Resort, you're never far from anything! If your room is close to the BoardWalk, you'll be closer to the Resort lobby, dining locations, Luna Park Pool, shopping, and the short walkway to EPCOT. However, if your room is towards the back end of the Villas, you'll be closer to the quiet pool, Community Hall, tennis courts and walkway to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
If you're looking for a quiet room, I think a Standard View is a perfect choice, as the BoardWalk View and Pool View rooms can be a little noisier. If you're looking for a peaceful room close to all of the
amenities of the Resort, I recommend making a room request for a Standard View Deluxe Studio near the elevator. There is only one elevator bank in the Resort, and it is near the lobby. So, if you are close to the elevator, you will be right in the middle of all the action and within short walking distance to the lobby, the laundry room, dining locations and well, ... everything!
Another way to get around the Resort quickly and easily is to request a room on a lower floor. The lobby is actually on the second floor, so being on the second floor makes it super convenient to get to and from the lobby without having to wait for an elevator. Sometimes, my favorite way to quickly navigate the Resort is to do by walking outside, along the beautiful, adjacent waterway. So, for me, being on the ground level or a lower floor makes it easier to get outside to quickly make my way from my room to any location within the Resort without a long walk.
I hope this was helpful, Kristin, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable stay at this incredible Resort! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
