Hey Howdy Hey, Victoria!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! You've asked a great question and I am most happy to help you today. Victoria, I am so excited that you are taking advantage of the flexibility of
Disney Vacation Club Membership. It truly opens a whole new world of possibilities when you can use your Disney Vacation Club Points for Worldwide Destinations. We have done this many times and it's such a great benefit of Membership.
It sounds like you are interested in exchanging your Vacation Points through Interval International for a stay in New York City. I had a look at the Interval International site through Disney Vacation Club, and at this time, I have located
five properties in or near New York City that partner with Interval International and Disney Vacation Club. Please note that these Resorts available for exchange can change, and they are subject to availability.
To access this information or to peruse additional exchanges for Disney Vacation Club and Interval International, first log in to your Disney Vacation Club account. Next, under the Destinations tab, select
World Wide Stays Hotel Exchange. From here, click on Hotel Exchange and select Resort Directory, then select
USA Middle Atlantic, and finally choose
"New York, New York City" to see the current available Resorts for exchange with your Disney Vacation Club points.
When you are ready to make your booking, I recommend contacting
Member Services to help you exchange your Disney Vacation Club Points for Vacation Points to be used toward your New York City getaway. The oh-so-helpful Cast Members will work their magic to help you book your dream trip to this wonderful, show-stopping destination. Note that for hotel exchanges, the reservation window opens up to one year before your check-in date and closes three days before your check-in date and this is subject to change.
I hope you have a wonderful trip, Victoria. If you need any additional help with DVC or planning your Disney vacation,
stop back here at planDisney and I will be happy to assist you.
Happy planning!
Keri
