Looking to revisit Disney World in April of 2018 and we are interested in renting a 1-bedroom villa instead of a traditional room. Do they provide daily housekeeping services or is that not an option for the villas? Thanks!!!

    Hi Heather,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!

My family loves staying in a one-bedroom villa when we are at Walt Disney World. We truly appreciate the extra space, the washer and dryer in our villa, and the full kitchen. We find that we often cook at least a meal or two per day in our villa, and the laundry allows us to pack less. Having these comforts of home help us to have a more relaxed vacation. One of our favorite places to stay is Disney's BoardWalk Villas, where we enjoy the hustle and bustle and quick access to so much entertainment. We also love Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, for its modern, sleek design and walking access to Magic Kingdom!

By clicking on the "Amenities & Recreation" tab at the top of either of the resort websites that I linked, you can scroll down and see the housekeeping policy for each. Essentially, for Disney Vacation Club members who book their stays using vacation points or a member-discounted rate, trash and towel service is provided on various days throughout the stay, as well as full housekeeping on certain days for longer stays. Disney Vacation Club members do have the option to add additional housekeeping or trash and towel services for an additional fee.

If you are booking a villa using a traditional payment method such as cash or credit card, and you are not booking through a Disney Vacation Club membership, then yes, you will get housekeeping each day, just as you would in any Walt Disney World resort hotel room.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Heather! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
