Hi Paula, welcome to planDisney!
It's nice to hear your kids are having a magical childhood that includes multiple visits to Walt Disney World Resort. My kids have taken over creative control of our Disney scrapbook and I love seeing the magic through their eyes.
MagicBands are practical accessories that let Guests tap in at theme park entry, at Lightning Lane entrances, with Disney PhotoPass photographers, and more. MagicBands must be linked to individuals in
My Disney Experience before use. Because children under the age of 13 cannot have their own My Disney Experience accounts, your children's MagicBands are likely linked to My Disney Experience account profiles managed by another family member's account. For your upcoming trip, you've probably created My Disney Experience account profiles for your children under your account, as well, which is where their tickets and
theme park reservations are housed.
Cast member assistance is required to merge each child's two existing My Disney Experience account profiles into one. A helpful Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ line has the special kind of pixie dust you need. When you call, be sure to have the name and email address associated with your family member's My Disney Experience account ready. Once the account profiles are merged, your children's MagicBands will be ready to use for your upcoming vacation. Just note that the average battery life of a MagicBand is two to three years, though mine's been going strong for over four. If your children's last visit was more than two years ago, I recommend having a backup
method of entry (
Disney MagicMobile pass or admission card) ready, just in case.
I hope you and your children have a wonderful time making memories together at
The World's Most Magical Celebration, Paula.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
