We are looking to return in June next year 4 adults in total if we have a connecting room for our 2 adult children to sleep in is there a charge. Thanks Colleen.

Hi Colleen! Welcome to planDisney! As my children have gotten older, I've discovered that Disney vacations with them when they are teens and adults are just as fun (in some ways even more fun!) than when they were toddlers. The days of strollers and midday naps are behind us, but we traded those for late nights in the parks, bigger thrills, and a whole new kind of Disney magic!

You will have some wonderful options at Disney Resort hotels for your family of four! Depending on your budget and preferences, there are options at everything from Value to Moderate to Deluxe Villa resorts that would be practically perfect in every way for your crew!

The first recommendation I have for you is the Value resorts. Both Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offer family suites. These sleep up to six adults and come with separate sleeping areas with a queen bed in the master bedroom and additional beds in the living area. I was just in a suite at All-Star Music a couple of weeks ago, and they are simply fantastic! There is loads of space, two bathrooms, three queen beds, and a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave!

The next option is to reserve two rooms at a Moderate resort. Any of the Moderate resorts would be a lovely choice, but my favorite is Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The resort is beautiful and exudes all of the Southern charm of the Louisiana bayou. At Moderate resorts, you will need to reserve the two rooms separately, and then you can call to speak with a Cast Member to request connecting or adjoining rooms. While requests are not guaranteed, the Cast Members at the resort will do their best to fulfill your request, based upon availability.

For the finest accommodations, Deluxe Villa resorts offer maximum space and all of the comforts of home. Your family may like either a 1- or 2-bedroom villa. These come with a full kitchen, living room, dining area, and washer/dryer. They truly feel like a home away from home!

Colleen, I hope this helps you find your perfect home base at Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions, please come back to see us right here at planDisney. We’re always here to add extra pixie dust to your Disney vacation!

    Magically,
    Casey
