Hi Lewis,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a question!
As one who always vacations on a budget, I understand your dilemma. Although I hesitate to say any time of year is always more affordable than another, I have found some great deals in the first week of January (excluding New Year's), early May, and later in August. Our favorite time of year to visit is now the week before Christmas and that has historically been more expensive for us.
As you check prices, keep an eye on the
Special Offers. Offers are released throughout the year, so I check periodically. I also will shorten the length of our stay if I want to stay at a particular resort but need to make the trip more affordable. When we started bringing our girls, we fell in love with Disney's Contemporary Resort. I started shortening our trips from six nights to five nights to save money. So, take a look at the
Disney Resorts Collection and then do some comparison pricing by checking our
Vacation Package link.
When I need to stay at a resort hotel that is more budget-friendly, I have enjoyed
Disney's All-Star Movies,
Disney's Art of Animation, and
Disney's Pop Century Resorts. A few years ago, my girls and I did a girls' trip and stayed at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. It was super cute, and we had so much fun. Disney's Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts both have access to the
Disney Skyliner.
Lewis, keep the search alive! I trust you will find a Special Offer that will help make your trip more affordable. Meanwhile, I have it on good authority that there will still be some magic waiting for you when you arrive!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
