Hi Emily,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy to chat with a fellow Canadian Guest and help you with your question today. There is so much to explore and discover at Disney World outside of the theme parks so let’s take a look at how to travel around
Walt Disney World Resort.
Walt Disney World Resort offers a variety of
transportation options, each adding to the magic of your visit. Guests can enjoy the comfort of air-conditioned buses, soar through the sky aboard the Skyliner gondolas, travel in style on the iconic monorail, or take in serene views from watercraft. If you’re travelling between resorts, you’ll first need to stop at a hub - either a theme park or
Disney Springs. Once there, you can catch a bus to your desired resort. Look for the posted bus stop numbers and destinations, or simply ask a friendly Cast Member nearby—they’re always happy to help guide you!
Since you're staying at
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, the closest transportation hub is
Hollywood Studios. Simply board a bus bound for Hollywood Studios, and once you arrive, look for the bus stop heading to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort (Riverside or French Quarter).
Did you know the
My Disney Experience app has a handy transportation feature to help you navigate Walt Disney World Resort? To find it, tap the locator icon at the bottom of the screen. Then, scroll through the top menu until you see the "Transportation" icon and click on it. Tap "Show List" in the lower right corner, select "Walt Disney World Bus Service," and then hit "Get Directions." Enter your starting location and destination, and voilà - you’ll have step-by-step directions faster than you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Emily, I hope this information is helpful for your stay at Walt Disney World. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to
reach out. Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
Cheers,
Candace
