    Looking at reserving a character meal at storytellers cafe. Already purchased our package. And want to know if I can make the advance reservation without a character ticket? If I need a ticket can I make the reservation and purchase the ticket upon arrival

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm delighted you have already planned so much of your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages really make planning a breeze when you bundle your hotel, park tickets, dining, and more.

    Character Dining vouchers are a great way to budget for your trip since you pre-pay for them, and they conveniently include tax and tip. This means you will actually save some money by purchasing a dining voucher versus paying for your meal at the restaurant. You are more than welcome to add a Character Dining voucher to your Vacation Package up to 7 days prior to your arrival by calling a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package specialist at (714) 520-5060. These vouchers will then be delivered to your hotel with all of your package information and tickets. You can make your reservation prior to purchasing and obtaining these dining vouchers as you will not need to show them until you are present for your meal. Keep in mind that a credit card will need to be provided at time of booking to guarantee the reservation, but this will not be charged unless you fail to show for your reservation or cancel prior to the cancellation window.

    I just dined at Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Cafe in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and was blown away by the delicious buffet items as well as meeting so many classic Disney Characters. From breakfast favorites to more inventive options, there truly is something for every palate.
