Hi there, Lynette! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to see you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort during the merriest time of the year! I have spent Thanksgiving Day in the parks myself, and it is such a fun way to kick off the holiday season from your first glimpse of Santa himself in
A Christmas Fantasy Parade to humming your favorite holiday hits along with
"it's a small world" Holiday. It will be hard not to smile and skip all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.! Be sure to check out the handmade candy canes at the
Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen! This is a quintessential Disneyland holiday treat!
You are going to love
staying in the magic with a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package. Is there anything better than spending a full day in the parks knowing that you can get some pixie-dusted rest right there at the Happiest Place on Earth? Wake up to Mickey waffles and have an oasis waiting for you for those midday breaks!
I'm so happy to hear that you are aware that
theme park reservations are just as important as those tickets! It's smart to have this top of mind as you will be visiting during a time of year which tends to bring in a lot of Mouseketeers. With a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, you can link your package confirmation number to your account on the Disneyland Mobile App. Simply open up the app and navigate to the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner. Select "My Hotel Reservation" and fill out the information required. Although your actual tickets will not drop in until 4 days ahead of arrival, the system will recognize that you have purchased them as part of a package and will allow you to make those reservations - hooray! The
reservation calendar will open up to you 120 days before each park day. I know you might be eager to get all those Disneyland ducks in a row, so you can make them one day at a time as they open up or wait until your full window is open and do them all at once. Reservations are limited and subject to availability, so I would mark your calendar with an alert 120 days out ... which looks like it's coming up around July 31st!
With the magic back in full swing, you will be happy to know that some beloved Disneyland Resort Hotel Guest perks are also returning very soon! Starting August 8th,
Early Entry will allow Guests to enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park 30 minutes ahead of park opening. While both parks will be open daily for Early Entry, Guests will head to the park that corresponds with their theme park reservation. If you've made any purchases during your park day, you can also take advantage of next-day delivery from most merchandise locations directly to the Bell Services desk at your hotel! I'm particularly excited about a preferred dine reservation access. We are still waiting for a bit more information on this one, but it looks like a limited number of reservations at some coveted dining locations will be held specifically for hotel Guests!
We are always here for you at planDisney, Lynette!
Magic awaits!
