Hi Melissa,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Hooray for pre-park opening breakfast reservations!
First, be sure to check the
park hours for the dates of your visit. You want to be sure that your reservation will indeed be prior to other guests entering the park. Remember that with the Let the Magic Begin show in Magic Kingdom, guests can enter one hour prior to park opening to enjoy the shops on Main Street, U.S.A.
When you arrive to the theme park, just let a cast member know that you have a pre-park opening breakfast reservation and she or he will direct you to the appropriate line. A cast member will check-in your party. We have typically been able to enter 15-30 minutes prior to our reservation. Once we have finished dining, we have just headed to a ride. On our last visit, we finished dining at Be Our Guest by 8:45 a.m. and headed to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. There was no line and we rode like the wind - MAGIC!
In Magic Kingdom, we have done pre-park breakfast reservations at The Crystal Palace and Be Our Guest restaurants. At Epcot, we have done them at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and at Disney's Hollywood Studios we always do them at Hollywood & Vine so that we can get into the park early to sign-up the girls for Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple.
Melissa, just be aware of your location. Cast members did have certain areas roped off and in Magic Kingdom, we were given a specific route to take depending on the location of our breakfast reservation. When we last dined at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, we ended breakfast about 9:10 a.m. and were able to jump in the stand-by line for Frozen Ever After. Although the park had opened, the line was short and we did not have to wait more than 10 minutes!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
