I am looking to make reservations at either Be Our Guest or Cinderella's Royal Table (I'd love both if possible), but if I am unable to pre-book reservations, what kind of wait can I expect? Or is it reservations only?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicole! Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest are magical experiences with your favorite Disney characters, and two hot meal tickets in Magic Kingdom Park.

While these two restaurants are in very high demand, the best booking practice for each is to book in the morning, 180 days before check in of your vacation. In fact, there is often best availability later in your vacation stay. But if you are planning on the fly, fear not! There may still be a way in. I would check My Disney Experience (either the app on online) every so often for cancellations or opening bookings, as they can be snapped up quickly. Best availability on the fly can be 24 hours before your preferred dining time, as the cancellation policies cause people to consider their bookings carefully as the reservation nears. If you choose to ask the day-of you may find openings here and there when crowds are low, but expect to be turned down. I find any openings to be extra magical and a true bonus for my day!

If I can help you find other quick service restaurants in Magic Kingdom for your meals, or recommend other table service bookings nearby, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me!  ~ Lindsey P.
