I am looking to "register" for a Disney vacation so that family and friends my put money towards our trip for holiday and birthday gifts. I see that there is a honeymoon registry. Is there a registry service for people other than honeymooners?

    Hi there, Jillian!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with this great question!

There is not currently a "registry" so-to-speak; however, I do have a great suggestion for you that might serve the same purpose that you're looking for. I have to tell you, this is a great idea!

If you know the dates and Resort hotel that you'd like for your Disney vacation, you can actually book the entire package, with Park tickets and Disney Dining Plan if you desire, by paying only a $200.00 deposit! Be sure to keep an eye out on the Special Offers section of the Walt Disney World website for some great, money-saving opportunities! Once your vacation is booked, you can make payments on it all the way up until 45 days prior to your arrival. You can make as many or as few payments as you'd like, so your friends and family could all contribute to the cause as they wish! If plans change and you'd like to change any part of your vacation, like dates or Resort choice, you'd simply call the Walt Disney Travel Company at 407.939.7675 and they'll be able to assist you.

I sure hope this helps, Jillian! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
