Hi all! I am looking for recommendations for a character breakfast either at a park or very close to (contemporary, Floridian etc) for first time children. We are looking for a classic Mickey and friends dining experience . . . Chef Mickey, The Land???

    Hi Sarah!!!

I absolutely love reserving Character Dining Experiences on my Walt Disney World Vacations!!  This is definitely one of the things that separates a Disney Vacation from all other vacations!!!

If you are looking for a Character Dining Experience with Mickey and Friends, then I would highly recommend Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort for either breakfast or dinner!!!  Even though it is not Mickey and Friends, I would also recommend 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for breakfast.  This is an experience with Mary Poppins, Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Tigger!!

The other restaurant you mentioned in your question is The Garden Grill at the Land Pavilion at Epcot.  This is a wonderful family style dinner with Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Pluto in a very unique rotating restaurant around the Living with the Land attraction!!  I would highly suggest this restaurant as well!!!

I cannot wait for your children to be able to enjoy the characters at these awesome restaurants!!

    Have a magical day!!
