Hi, Leslie!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question about exploring the Disneyland Resort with preschoolers.
In Disney California Adventure Park, a big hit with my own daughter is Disney Junior DanceParty!, a high-energy experience packed with musical fun, special effects (what youngster doesn't love bubbles and confetti?) and favorite characters from shows like Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and Mickey and the Roadster Racers. This interactive dance party show is the perfect opportunity for active kiddos to get their wiggles out!
A must-do when my son was a preschooler was exploring Cars Land. You’ll feel like you stepped right into a scene from the movie! Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters has a minimum height requirement of only 32 inches and provides just the right amount of speed and thrills for young children. Be sure to grab a diner-inspired meal at Flo’s V8 Cafe and take a seat near the floor-to-ceiling glass windows or on the open-air patio overlooking the Radiator Springs Racers attraction to watch the cars zoom by with your little ones!
If your kids are night owls like mine, the high-energy
Paint the Night parade can't be missed during Pixar Fest! Check out the Paint the Night Dining Packages, which offer the convenience of reserved viewing for the parade along with a unique dining experience. My family’s favorite is the Wine Country Trattoria option, which includes a full-service 3-course meal. Your server will give each of you a voucher to enter a Paint the Night reserved viewing area that evening so you can spend less time saving your spot and more time enjoying the park!
I hope this helps, Leslie, and that you have a pixie dust-packed visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your young Mouseketeer!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
