Looking for recommendations for 2 adults and 2 daughters (5 and 3) for December timeframe. My wife and I have been there during December and loved it. Will be the first time ever to DLand for the kiddos. Places to stay, things to see/do, no stone unturn

    Hello there Jason,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for your question - you're in the right place for help with planning your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth later this year.

Your question is perfect because I also have two kiddos near the same age as yours and absolutely love visiting in December! Your kids will be at such a perfect age for the visit and during one of my favorite times - the Holiday season.

In terms of where to stay, I would highly recommend one of the Disneyland Resort hotels. Not only are they conveniently located within walking distance of the entry gates, but you can also enjoy an extra 30 minutes in one of the parks each day with Early Entry!

As for what to do, during our recent trip, we prioritized Fantasyland in Disneyland Park - our kids loved seeing all their favorite characters come to life in each of those attractions. It will also be great to check out the holiday parade, which you can find more information about on the Disney Parks Blog as we get closer to your visit. Lastly, try to check out the nighttime spectacular! During the holiday season, there is often some magical snow that accompanies it.

Over in Disney California Adventure Park, Cars Land and Pixar Pier are our kiddos favorite stops! They love Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Toy Story Midway Mania in particular.

I'd also suggest Disney Genie+ Service! Not only will you get access to Lightning Lane selections, which means shorter wait times, but you'll also get unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos, so you'll have a photo album worth of memories to commemorate your trip.

Thanks again for your question, Jason! I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip later this year.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
