Hi Cynthia, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I love Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Not only is it a beautiful and peaceful place to visit after the excitement of the theme parks, but it is jam-packed with fabulous recreational options, like horseback riding, canoeing, and fishing (to name just a few). While they offer unique accommodations,
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort come with the magical
benefits of staying at a Disney resort hotel.
I checked in with a Cast Member about
reserving a Pack n Play when staying at The Campsites at Fort Wilderness Resort. She told me that a limited number are available at the campsites, but requests cannot be guaranteed. To request one, contact Walt Disney World Resort Reservations at (407) 939-1936 and ask to add the request to your reservation. While there are no guarantees, I've always had good luck requesting these on my visits to Walt Disney World.
Cynthia, I can understand not wanting to take a chance, especially when sleep is so important – for both kiddos and adults – on vacation. My family has rented from Kingdom Strollers in the past, and we've been happy with their products and customer service. I've also heard good things about A Baby's Best Friend, which offers a variety of baby equipment rental items. I recommend looking at several companies, paying attention to reviews and pricing, but also things like delivery options.
Enjoy your time at The Campgrounds at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! I highly recommend a visit to P & J's Southern Takeout for yummy barbecue and their delicious strawberry shortcake.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
