Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Benjamin. I'm so glad you stopped by! It's super exciting to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. And with a
little one in tow! You're sure to make lots of magical memories.
Purchasing
Lightning Lane passes is the best way to maximize your time in the theme parks. When you have a Lightning Lane pass, you can bypass the standby queue, minimizing your wait time and making more time for other pixie-dusted adventures. As a mom of three, I love that! You ask an excellent question about Lightning Lane passes and your 18-month old. The answer is no, your little one does not need a Lightning Lane pass to enter a Lightning Lane with you as you redeem your selection. Guests under the age of 3 are special Guests of Mickey Mouse and don't need admission to the theme parks, essentially making them ineligible for the purchase of Lightning Lane passes. But your toddler can certainly join you for your Lightning Lane experiences (assuming, of course, that they meet the applicable height requirements for those attractions)!
Did you know there's a conveniently located
Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place to take your little one for a diaper change, quiet snack, or cool break.
I hope this was helpful, Benjamin. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
