I am looking to purchase tickets for the whole family for Christmas. I need rooms for 8 adults and children ages 13,9,5,3 and 2

Hey there, Marcie! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your question.

It sounds like you have some magical family vacation plans in the works! The Christmas holiday season is an amazing time to visit the Disney Parks. The theme parks and hotels feature beautiful seasonal decor, there is all sorts of special entertainment, and the limited-time holiday snacks are out of this world! It really is the most wonderful time of the year.

When looking to book a vacation package for such a large group, I’d recommend calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line. They’ll be able to help you get your theme park tickets and choose the best resort to fit your group’s needs (and budget). If you think you’ll require more than 10 rooms, then call the Group Reservations line for assistance with booking your vacation.

Visiting Walt Disney World with a large multi-generational family group is a lot of fun, but one thing that can be challenging is dining together. You can always talk to a cast member ahead of your reservation, but some restaurants are better equipped for large groups than others. So here are a few dining locations I’d recommend for your crew of 13.

    - Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge Resort
    - Biergarten at EPCOT
    - Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at the Campsites at Fort Wilderness
    - ‘Ohana at Polynesian Village Resort
    - Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom
    - Boma - Flavors of Africa at Animal Kingdom Lodge

Marcie, best of luck with planning your magical Walt Disney World visit. Come right back to planDisney if you have any other questions or if you’re looking for any trip tips, tricks, or recommendations.

    Magical travels!
