I am looking to purchase a Southern California 3 day pass for my mom but she doesn’t have a valid I.d she has a passport but it is expired. Will she be able to use this passport to go into the park.

Hi Alejandra! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

SoCal admission tickets require proof of eligible residency with a valid government-issued photo ID showing a valid zip code for both purchase and entry at the gates. Unfortunately, an expired ID, including an expired passport, is not a valid form of ID or proof of residency. I know that's not the answer you were hoping for, Alejandra.

However, there are other discounts available, which might apply to your mom's visit. If you're interested in visiting for more than one day to extend the magic, there is value in multi-day tickets. It is always the case that the more you stay, the less you pay per day. It can be a challenge to do everything on your must-do list in one day, so our family often opts for a 2-day ticket. If you're considering making a vacation out of your trip, a Vacation Package also offers value.

May is a fantastic time to visit! Check out the Disney Parks Blog for updates on what you can expect to experience that's new during your trip. I'm looking forward to all the Disney100 festivities that are currently underway.

    Have the best time!
