Hi there- I am looking to purchase FL resident ticket but I am wondering what the process for verification is as my fiancé is in the process of getting a replacement license. Would mail suffice?

    Hi there, Sky!

I love it when a fellow Floridian stops by planDisney. Being a Florida resident means that we can tap into discounts and deals like the 4-Day Discover Disney Ticket. Let’s get into what your forever Disney date will need to prove their Florida residency.

If your fiancée doesn’t have a Florida identification card on hand before you purchase your Florida resident ticket or annual pass, they’ll need to present other forms of verification. Have another photo ID ready to go. This could be a passport or another ID that displays their face. But they’ll also need something else to prove Florida residency, such as a proof of a mortgage, utility bill, insurance policy, or a financial institution or government agency letter. Make sure that these are dated within 2 months as well to show that it’s recent.

As long as your dear fiancée has another ID and a piece of Sunshine State mail, they will be good to go. In the meantime, if you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions, give us an holler here at planDisney.

    Magic always,
    LeAndra
