Hello, I am looking to purchase Disney tickets for technically 3 days. I want to do a park hopper one day. Then the other two days one park each. What would be the best way to do this? Thank you!

Welcome to planDisney Heather. I love park hopping and making sure all the parks get love on my visits. I will be happy to share a couple of my favorite combinations for accomplishing this goal.

A quick 3-day visit is a nice way to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this summer. There are always a couple of ways to do this particular setup and I have a strategy that will ensure you get a couple of hours at all of these iconic locations. Personally, I love the park-hopping combination of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. A nice early start at Animal Kingdom is always the way to start, whether you want to start like I do with Kilimanjaro Safaris. The animals in the early morning and near sunset are always the most active. Once you traverse all of the continents you can then hop to Hollywood Studios starting at 2 p.m. You can spend the rest of your day walking through Batuu when you transport yourself to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and make sure you stop by Toy Story Land to get on Slinky Dog Dash before the night ends. I love to ride at night, it is so cool with all the lights and characters larger than life around the coaster tracks.

The next two parks are one day each and I would go to EPCOT and make sure if you enjoy thrills to join the Virtual Queue at 7 a.m. Each day you can join the Virtual Queue to try and obtain a boarding group for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and another chance at 1 p.m. Finally, your visit would not be complete with my favorite Magic Kingdom Park where Main Street U.S.A. will lead you right to the iconic picture in front of Cinderella Castle. This is the perfect way to end your trip and get that kiss goodnight with the fireworks extravaganza Happily Ever After. This show returned this past April and has been dazzling guests ever since. Find a spot about an hour before the show starts so you can have a great view.

I hope this blueprint helps you figure out which park to start with and which to hop from. If you have any other questions stop back and ask me a question anytime.

    Have a magical stay,

    Jeremy A.
