Jenelle from Western Australia Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, I am looking to purchase a 5 day pass, single park ticket. Am I able to change my booking from the parks nominated on certain days once we have started using our 5 day pass?

Hi Jenelle! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

Theme park reservations are currently required for entrance to the parks along with a valid admission ticket. The good news is that you can always change your reservation for a future date to a different park even after you've begun using your tickets so long as there is still availability. To make this adjustment, visit My Theme Park Reservations and choose "Modify Reservation" for the day and park you'd like to modify. You'll need to choose who in your party will be changing their park. "Select All" if everyone is making the change. Select the same date, since you only want to change the park, and choose the new theme park. Review your changes and choose to continue. An email will be sent with confirmation of the change.

You can also add Disney Genie+ Service if it isn't currently loaded onto your ticket. You could add it on the morning of your fourth day, for example, and choose not to add it again on the fifth. Our family appreciates the ability to spend less time waiting in queues, so we always go with Genie+. Adding it is incredibly easy. Once you've scanned into the parks for the day, open the Disneyland mobile app, click the three-bar menu at the bottom right side of the app, select "My Genie Day," and click the "Get Disney Genie+ Service" link halfway down the page to begin the transaction. It's a great option to have throughout your visit.

Park reservations are subject to selling out and being full, especially at popular times of the year, which Halloween Time certainly is. If you find that you're unable to switch your reservation because your new park is sold out, keep checking. People's plans change and you might be able to make the adjustment later in your visit even if you found a park to be fully booked at the start of your trip. Persistence can pay off! Plus a little Pixie Dust.

As your visit approaches, follow the Disney Parks Blog for all the updates on the seasonal décor, treats, merchandise, and entertainment you can expect to enjoy during your visit. You'll be there long enough that I think you could manage to do a lot of your must-dos! Mine is the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. It's a can't-miss.

    I hope this helps!
