I am looking to purchase a 3 day Disney theme park ticket. Do I have to go to three separate parks each day? Or may I go to the same park twice? IE. Magic Kingdom one day, Hollywood studios day 2 and day 3...

    Hiya Chantel,

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your theme park question! Planning a Walt Disney World vacation truly is a dream in the making. From choosing which resort feels most like home, to mapping out your days filled with Mickey-shaped snacks, castle views, and fireworks, there’s just so much pixie dust in the process! I love thinking about walking down Main Street, with the scent of popcorn in the air or seeing Hollywood Boulevard sparkle in the Florida sun.

Now, let’s sprinkle a little magic on your question! If you're purchasing a 3-Day standard theme park ticket, you'll be happy to know that yes, you absolutely can visit the same park more than once during your stay. With a standard ticket, each day grants access to one theme park, so if you choose to start your morning in Magic Kingdom, take a midday break for a nap or a swim at your resort, and then return to see Happily Ever After light up the night—you're more than welcome to!

Just one important note: this information applies to the standard 3-Day Theme Park ticket, not the 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket that was recently introduced as a special offer. That new option includes EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, but it does not include admission to Magic Kingdom.

However, if you're hoping to park hop—like grabbing a Ronto Wrap in Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios and then catching the fireworks at EPCOT—you’ll want to upgrade to the Park Hopper option. It’s the best of both worlds and perfect for those who want to do a little bit of everything in one day.

While you’re planning, I highly recommend checking out the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news and magical happenings. Did you hear that Villains: Unleashed – Unfairest of Them All just opened at Hollywood Studios? It's the perfect time to catch something new while your Disney favorites surround you.

Chantel, I hope this helps you choose which park (or parks!) to explore. No matter which you choose, I know your visit will be filled with unforgettable moments, plenty of laughs, and a little extra pixie dust. If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to reach back out. We’re always here to help.

    See ya real soon,

    Christina
