Hello, I am looking to purchase annual passes to Disneyland online. Could you please let me know when the "start date" for my 12 months is? Is the start date the day I purchase the passes or the day the passes are first used?

    Hi there, Shirley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I’m happy to hear you’re interested in enjoying a year full of magical visits to the Disneyland Resort with an Annual Passport! It’s the best investment to make if you want to experience as much theme park fun as possible, and being an Annual Passholder comes with many valuable benefits and perks.

Annual Passports are valid for a full year from the day they are activated. If you purchase your Annual Passport online, it will become active on the first day you enter a Disneyland Resort theme park using that pass. Once you’re an Annual Passholder, you can sign in or create an account on and then visit Annual Passholders Today to view the details of your pass, like the expiration date, any possible blockout dates and the pass type you hold.

I hope this information is helpful, Shirley. Please don’t hesitate to ask me any other questions you might have as you plan your next pixie-dusted adventure!

    Wishing you magic,
