    Hi, looking for pros/cons on B.C.(standard room) vs B.C. Villas(1 Bedroom), DH, children 17 & 14 and myself. We are not DVC members, does our booking guarantee the room? Any other info would be great. Thank you very much.

    Hi Lynn! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The biggest difference between a standard hotel room at Disney's Beach Club Resort versus a villa is size. Your standard hotel room will be 5-star decked out with all Disney signature magic, but villas offer that with more space plus all the comforts of home... for me that's wonderfully magical! 

    The best part of staying at a deluxe villa is having all the amenities of home away from home. You'll love having a private bedroom, multiple bathrooms, a large living area, a washer/dryer, and the best feature...a fully equipped kitchen that you can stock with your own groceries from home! To really save money and stretch our vacation dollars we typically eat one meal out either lunch or dinner and I cook everything else in our villa. Since we drive to Walt Disney World Resort I can pack everything I need with us. If you're flying you can put a lot of your non-perishable groceries in checked luggage or ship a box directly to the resort ahead of your arrival.

    The deluxe resort villas are part of Disney Vacation Club, but you don't have to be a member to book a reservation there. Instead of using Disney Vacation Club points, you'll simply pay with cash and once your reservation is booked your stay is confirmed.
